WYA goes to National Festival of Youth Theatres

Eight young people from Waterford Youth Arts represented their youth theatre at the national festival of youth theatres held in Kilkenny last week. Among those taking part were: Shane O'Sullivan, Leah Marshall, Odile de Leaster, Rose Keating, Oscar Fitzgerald, Niamh McCann, Nicole Ayers and katie Flynn with the two leaders Ollie Breslin and Martina Collender. The festival is run by the National Association of Youth Drama with youth theatres from throughout Ireland taking part. Great fun and learning was had by all.
